Élisabeth Moquin

Originally from Saint-Majorique-de-Grantham, where she had her first contact with the traditional arts, Élisabeth Moquin is now a violin graduate in the traditional music program at the Cégep of Joliette. A beautiful journey that has enriched her both professionally and personally. Co-founder of the group É-T-É, this young musician, with her dynamism, her interpersonal skills and her ease on stage will captivate you. The jig is also an integral part of her passions. Whether in a troop or self-taught, all means are good for jigging even more.

The pursuit of learning and development is at the heart of her quest. That’s why she doesn’t have to be asked to perform on Quebec stages and pursue her skills by participating in various music courses and camps to perfect her art.

Very active in the traditional environment and passionate about this music, she travels across Quebec to meet new acquaintances to share and keep our living heritage very active.
